Garden Maintenance Team Members

Based in the Adelaide Hills, but working across both the hills and metropolitan Adelaide, Ambleside Landscapes specialises in projects from initial design through to construction and ongoing maintenance.

We are seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Member to working within our grounds maintenance and softscape landscaping teams. This role is ideal for someone with experience in horticultural or grounds maintenance, and wanting to step into a role they can make their own

​

THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role, maintaining both residential and commercial gardens throughout the Adelaide Hills and metropolitan Adelaide.

You will

• Complete task including including mowing, pruning/hedging, fertilising, weed management, pest identification & treatment, monitoring plant health and other ad hoc & seasonal tasks).

• Work closely with the administration and operations team to schedule & communicate with clients, and manage maintenance programs across all sites, documenting and reporting on works completed.

• Collaborate with Landscape Construction teams for all soft-scaping installations, including soil preparation, planting, turf installation, mulching and irrigation installation.

• Assist with seasonal tasks including lawn renovations, slashing/fire prevention works, and other tasks as required.

• Maintain excellent communication with clients, supervisors, and your team, utilising Job Software (Tradify) and other technologies;

• Ensure all OH&S policies and procedures are followed.

Ideal skills & qualifications​

• Certificate lll Horticulture or equivalent grounds/garden maintenance qualification or experience

• 2+ years experience in garden/grounds maintenance

• White Card

• Unrestricted Driver’s License (C) & reliable transport

• Desirable: First Aid & CPR certification

• Desirable: Excavator & skid-steer tickets and MR License
