Transforming this generous block to a contemporary landscape with a Hamptons flavour, we worked closely with Landscape Designer Lesli Hewett, with first site meetings held before the previous home was demolished. This allowed us to collaborate with the home builder and keen suppliers to ensure the landscaping worked with the slope of the block and final finishes complimented the new home.

Lesli designed this landscape to match our client's love for gardening and outdoor family living, with a formal front yard and designated zones in the back yard.
Featuring a large pool, fire-pit area, shaded TifTuf play lawn, sheltered alfresco area, and space for a basketball hoop, this garden can be enjoyed in all seasons.​
Complemented with lush gardens, the hardscape elements in this project are the real feature.
Entering through automatic gates, Charcoal Basalt paving and retaining blocks manage the change in height from the street level to the entrance of the home, while the granite contrast strips connect the exposed aggregate driveway with the hardscape materials used throughout. Extensive planting along the side of the home create balance for the striking 2-story home.

Continuing around the residence, over 350sq m of Cinder Limestone was used extensively throughout the rear yard landscaping. Star Jasmine grows up large metal posts alongside fruit trees and a propagation area, which have been developed since the landscaping was completed.
The rear landscaping uses a combination of stone clad retaining walls and garden beds to manage the slope of the block and create zones for family living. A beautiful large, borrowed Oak Tree on the southern-eastern corner creates seasonal shade for the large TifTuf play lawn which, along with the pool area, overlooks the fire-pit, alfresco and rear of the home.
